After a delay, our prayers have been answered. Our documents are en route to the courier for authentication. We should be DTC (dossier to China) in 2-3 weeks. Also, our Home Study Addendum including the notification of the change in our situation has been forwarded to the USCIS Texas Lock Box to request our free renewal on our I-800A approval before the expiration on 8/9/2015. We will need to be fingerprinted again. We are waiting for the appointment letters requesting us to return to USCIS for fingerprinting. Hoping for a speedy process. Here are the details regarding our prayers that have been answered.
We had a bump in the road that forced our agency to put our pending adoption on hold in April. The end of March I had an unfortunate situation ( I was let go from my job), that has turned into a wonderful blessing! I spent two months refining and updating my resume and pounding the pavement looking for the perfect employment opportunity. On May 27th I received the call that said, "Your needed employment letter is in your email. Would you be able to be at the facility to work in two hours?" I immediately forwarded the email to the agency, called our agency contact to inform her of the employment letter in her email and drove to work.
Our deadline for our PA was 5/28/2015 (China time). When I forwarded the employment letter to the agency, they had 18 hours to forward the employment letter and to request an extension for our PA. Extensions are almost unheard of at this time. We were so blessed, the CCCWA granted our family a 3 month PA extension. Our GOD is AWESOME! I truly am learning to depend on our LORD. HE will take care of us if we trust HIM. HIS timing is perfect.
